Contract Care Support Services is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide person-centred care to a client in Ulverstone, TAS. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone's life by helping them achieve their goals and live independently with dignity and choice.

🛠️ What You'll Do

• Provide personal care assistance including showering, toileting, and grooming
• Support with daily living tasks such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Deliver safe manual handling and mobility support
• Plan and facilitate community access, recreational activities, and social engagement
• Transport client to appointments, activities, and community outings
• Monitor client wellbeing and provide first aid when needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Build a trusting, respectful relationship that empowers independence

🎓 Qualifications & Requirements

• Mandatory Vaccines: Current Flu + COVID-19 (3 doses)
• Certifications: Manual Handling, Elder Abuse Prevention, Infection Control, Food Handling, First Aid & CPR
• NDIS Training: NDIS New Workers Module + NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Clearances: Valid Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Other Requirements: 2 employment references, valid NSW driver's licence, comprehensive car insurance
